Nina Torres World Tour 2019: A Celebration of Global Artistry in Greece

From July 25 to 28, 2019, the Tui Sensimar Blue Lagoon Palace Hotel in Kalives, Greece, hosted the Nina Torres World Tour, a vibrant exhibition curated by renowned artist Nina Torres and hosted by Christina Lappa. The event brought together a diverse roster of global artists, including Dunia Gatica, Farhana Akhter, Griselda Lechini, Roni Doppelt, Sirje Ainso, Vera Akotuah, and Subodh Maheshwari, whose works illuminated the hotel’s art gallery.

The festivities kicked off with an Opening Reception on July 25 (6:00–10:00 PM), where guests enjoyed cocktails and immersive art experiences. The exhibition showcased a range of styles, from abstract compositions to culturally rooted pieces, reflecting the artists’ unique perspectives.

Spotlight on Subodh Maheshwari

Indian-born artist Subodh Maheshwari, a standout participant, presented her acclaimed watercolor collage “Flower Family IV” (2012), a piece blending spiritual symbolism with vibrant abstraction. A multimedia artist celebrated for her floral and landscape themes, Maheshwari has earned global recognition through features in Art Expo NY (2014–2020) and the Art Tour International 60 Masters Show (2017–2020). Her accolades include the Bharat Gaurav Award (2015), honoring her contributions to art and culture.
