Winter and Spring 2026 Fine Art Classes
Registration Open for RCCD Lifelong Learning

The vibrant art scene of Orange County has received a fresh wave of creativity through the artistic expressions of Subodh Maheshwari, a young artist whose work is currently on display at the Brea Civic and Cultural Center. Maheshwari, a native of India and a student at the University of California, Irvine, is among the 100 artists featured in the "We Are Orange County" exhibition, which will run through August 12.
The exhibition aims to highlight the diverse cultural fabric of the region, showcasing artists from various backgrounds and artistic disciplines. Maheshwari’s contributions stand out not only for their intricate detailing and vibrant color palette but also for their deep cultural and philosophical undertones.
Exhibition hours are scheduled for Wednesdays and Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m. and Thursdays from noon to 8 p.m., allowing art enthusiasts ample opportunity to experience Maheshwari’s work and that of other talented artists.
In addition to Maheshwari’s artistic achievements, this edition of The Press-Enterprise covers a variety of local issues, including a report on water pollution in the Chino Basin and an ongoing discussion regarding county ordinance enforcement funding. Meanwhile, economic development plans continue to unfold, with new commercial centers anticipated along Highway 71 in Pomona.
For those looking to explore the rich tapestry of local artistry, the "We Are Orange County" exhibition offers an excellent opportunity to appreciate the unique perspectives and creative talents shaping the region’s cultural landscape.
